Fancy roosting some volcanic ash or smashing through techy bolder fields of grippy, dry pummice, or dropping into some lush subtropical forest singletrack, and finishing every day with an ice cold beer at a beachside taverna? In Tenerife, The Island of Eternal Spring, you can do all that in February sunshine, by hopping on a plane for a short 4 hour flight, while your buddies back home struggle through the gloop and gloom of a UK winter!

On our Tenerife Enduro MTB holiday, you will be guided by a local with WildBike support, so you know you’ll get the best 5 rides on Tenerife! Each day will start with an uplift into the hills to take most (but not all) of the sting out of the pedalling. Want some stats? Each ride will drop from over 2000m to sea level over distances of between 25 and 40k. There will be rocks, drift, rubble, switchbacks, rough stuff, smooth stuff, flow, steep chutes and occasional drop-offs, mostly on glorious singletrack.

We will be staying in El Medano, a chilled out seafront village that is a mecca for kite surfing, which brings with it a great vibe and plenty of cool bars and restaurants. Our apartment is right on the beachfront and has five twin rooms, plenty of relaxation space and the all important roof terrace with sofas and hammocks, ideal for chilling out with a cold one after a hard day on the lava trails! We are also just a stroll away from a good choice of places to eat and a short transfer from the airport and more importantly, the best trails!

Just to qualify that a little bit, the riding on Tenerife is so varied, there is something for everyone to enjoy. What you won’t get on this holiday is cross country mile munching, or very much climbing. What you will get is at least 12000 metres of descent on a massive
variety of surfaces in stunning scenery, from volcanic mountainsides to lush forests. If you’re happy with UK trail centre red runs, or maybe you’re an enduro shredder looking for some winter action, then this is the trip for you!

We recommend bringing your own bike. If you prefer it may be possible to hire a good Enduro bike locally for £150 for 5 days. Ask us early if you would like to arrange this, as supply is limited.
