Travelling to us

Most of our customers choose to drive to our UK mountain biking holiday destinations, as, let’s face it, it’s often easier to load up the car with all your kit and head for the hills! However, we do run a free transfer service from local train stations for most of our trips, detailed under each destination page. Let us know in good time if you would like to take advantage of this. Be aware that bikes need to be booked onto most train services well in advance.

We also offer a free airport transfer service for our Scotland, Alps and U.S. trips. Please consult with us before booking flights so that we can coordinate our pick-ups. If you choose to arrive outside of agreed times, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide a free transfer.

Arrival

We will send you detailed joining instructions a few weeks before your holiday with us. As well as directions to our accommodation, we will let you know where and when you can join us for an evening meal and a pint on the night of arrival.

Trailhead shuttles

We keep journeys to trailheads to a minimum by making our destination HQs central to the trail network, and usually we will be able to ride straight from the front door. However, we do have the ability to shuttle all guests and their bikes in total safety and comfort. Our bike racks use totally secure fork clamps so that bikes will not touch each other in transit, eliminating the risk of damaging your pride and joy.

Departure

We aim to finish the last day’s ride by 4pm, latest. If you are booking a return train ticket, please allow an hour for the transfer journey.
