The Lake District Epic Enduro Lap, 20-25th June '17
Summary: 5 days supported Enduro style riding, 5 nights accommodation, transfers, breakfasts - £485
On WildBike's 'Toughness out of Ten' rating, it's an 11
So this is something a bit different. Call it DIY Enduro if you like!
It doesn't get tougher or more rewarding than The Epic Enduro Lap! Everything that is big, high, beautiful, fast, technical and tough that the Lakes can throw at you, in one Epic Enduro monster. This is a five day supported loop starting and finishing in Ambleside and taking in all the big Lakes challenges including Walna Scar, Esk Hause, Sty Head, Borrowdale, Skiddaw, Helvellyn, Sticks Pass, High Street, Nan Bield, Jenkins Crag.... . You can ride it fast and competitive if you want to while we keep you safe with plenty of experienced on-trail guides.
Uniquely, WildBike has the experience to capture the craic of a "racing with your mates" atmosphere, whilst upholding the integrity of the mountain environment and the safety of other hill users. The event will be limited to 20 riders to keep this "DIY, fast and loose, respect the hills" ethos.
This is big, technical All Mountain riding that will push bike and rider to their limits. In numbers, approximately 200km distance and 8000m of vertical shift in 5 days. This is the kind of ride that will sneak a mention into the speeches that celebrate your life - your wedding, your 40th, your 80th, that kind of thing!
WildBike is a Lake District specialist offering more riding options here than any other company. We run three different MTB experiences in this stunning adventure playground: All Mountain, High Mountains & High Passes and The Epic Enduro Lap. Get in touch if you would like us to help you decide which is the perfect adventure for you!

Is it for me?
This is a tough, tough trip. You will need to be comfortable with shouldering your bike. 4 of the 5 days involve up to an hour of carrying or pushing. The reward for this is pedalling across high summits and riding long, fast, technical descents that can last for half an hour.
You will also need to be properly prepared for the kind of wild weather that can accompany such big mountain riding.
It might be a little Spinal Tap, but we do not give an 11 out of 10 toughness rating lightly. This is probably the toughest commercially available trip in the UK and is right up there with many global biking challenges.
